We want you to have a great experience on Pentesterclub. This Refund Policy explains when refunds are available for subscriptions and one-time purchases made directly through Pentesterclub. This policy does not limit any rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
1) Who this policy applies to
This policy applies to purchases made directly from Pentesterclub via our website. If you purchased through a third party (for example, an app store, a university, or a reseller), their terms and process apply and you must contact them directly.
2) Subscriptions
- Free trials: If your plan includes a free trial, you can cancel anytime before the trial ends to avoid being charged. Once the trial converts to a paid subscription, the first charge is processed immediately.
- Ongoing subscriptions: You may cancel at any time, and your access will continue until the end of the current billing period. We generally do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
- First-time subscription refunds: If you are charged for your first paid subscription and are unsatisfied, you may request a refund within 2 days of the charge if your account shows no substantial use (e.g., no certifications issued and minimal lab/course progress).
- Accidental or duplicate charges: If you were accidentally charged twice or for the wrong plan, contact us within 30 days and we will review and, if applicable, refund the erroneous charge.
3) One-time purchases
- Courses, labs, exams, or downloads purchased as a one-time transaction are eligible for a refund within 2 days of purchase if less than 10% of the content has been accessed and no certificates or badges have been issued.
- If downloadable or consumable digital content has been fully accessed, redeemed, or consumed, it is not refundable.
4) Non-refundable items
- Gift cards, promo codes, or vouchers once delivered or redeemed
- Services that have been fully performed
- Third-party marketplace purchases (contact the seller)
- Accounts suspended for violating our Terms of Use
5) How to request a refund
To request a refund, email us at [email protected] from the email associated with your account. Include:
- Your full name and Pentesterclub username
- Order ID or payment reference and date of charge
- Product or plan name
- Reason for the refund request
- Any relevant screenshots or receipts
6) Processing and timing
- Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method only.
- Once processed, it can take 5–10 business days for your bank or provider to post the credit.
- If your original payment method is unavailable, we may offer account credit at our discretion.
7) Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback, your account may be temporarily suspended during the investigation. To resolve billing issues quickly, please contact us first at [email protected].
8) Regional rights (EU/UK)
If you are in the EU/UK, you may have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content not supplied on a tangible medium. This right may not apply once digital content is made available to you and you have expressly consented to immediate access and acknowledged losing your withdrawal right. Where applicable law grants you additional rights, we will honor them.
9) Taxes, currency, and fees
- Refunds are issued for the amount paid in the original transaction currency.
- We are not responsible for exchange rate differences or fees charged by your bank or payment provider.
10) Updates to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will apply prospectively. Continued use of Pentesterclub after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
